Firing the Grid for Peace and Prosperity

My friend, Rainbow Warrior, alerted me to the importance of this day and time...

And so, we - whomever we are and whereever we are - are attempting to "fire the grid" or "prime the pump" for humanity's shift.

A secular thought that always gives me Hope, and that I bring to mind at this time, comes from George Bernard Shaw:
Some men see things as they are and ask why.
Others dream things that never were and ask why not.

And thus, I live my life, dreaming of things that "never were" or, as I prefer to say, "have yet to be" and think to myself, "Why not?"....

Oftentimes, when I engage in heartfelt discussions with my intellectual superiors, I am stymied by my inability to argue effectively; the right words and the right references aren't always readily available to my fast-searching mind.

Invariably, however, when I can stand on the same platform with another person or persons, whether due to similar educational backgrounds or due to common spiritual beliefs or due to shared interests and language, I perceive a fierce glimmer of Connection and Comprehension....

Oh how my Soul yearns for those moments! And oh, how my Spirit soars when such moments are Real-Eyes'd!

To those of you with religious/spiritual leanings or yearnings, I recommend the Peace Seeds... a wonderful collection of prayers spoken in Assisi, Italy in 1986, The International Year of Peace, on the Day of Prayer for World Peace.

(I found that my friend, Mary, has also written about this day/time.)

Namaste.

Hi Nishtha,

Perhaps when we begin to move from like-minded to harmonious vibrations; from feeling someone superior, to finding them voicing our alternate thoughts, we can Real-Eyes [love this!] a soaring spirit at all times!

Thank you for that link. And here is one someone sent today :http://journey-to-your-higher-self.com/

Meenakshi - Thank you for voicing an “alternate thought” for me to ingest, digest, embrace… I continue to experience and respond to vibrations in my world…sometimes the vibrations are harmonious and sometimes they're dissonant…and sometimes I find myself changing my own vibration in response to the external stimulus (for better or worse)….

What I would like to refine is my own skills at “harmonizing”… Thank you for reminding me of this learning goal!

Awesome - did you see Lightenups entry and the button linking the Global Consciousness Project.  Modern technology.  Amazing.

Lovely to see you blogging this too, Nishtha. I had a lovely day yesterday, and wrote a brief blog myself: 11:11 with the full listing of videos of Shelley Yates speaking which I found so inspiring.

As for feeling unable to argue as well as you would like … personally I see this as a positive thing!

I was brought up in a household of intellectuals. I know many people who are extremely articulate and can argue their points very effectively. (I am not one of them, by the way). What I see missing in relationship and connection is not the ability to talk, but the ability to listen. Have you read Mushin's blogs on this and the 'we of us' ? (listed here).

When I'm in a situation that I find myself unable to 'talk' as well as I would like, I remind myself to let go, and see if I can listen deeper - which nearly always includes simply breathing deepr. I always feel better when I do this, and often 'see' something in the gathering of talkers that I did not see before.  Sometimes I find myself able to say something that is received well - without any intellectual effort on my part, it simply comes out.

Love,
Sandra

Meenakshi, David and Sandra, thank you for the links to furthering my education and exploration… I am looking forward to diving further in when I figure out how to regulate my breathing at such depths (I don't want to get ”the bends“…!)
