I don't like it when people tell me what to do.
I don't like it when people tell me how I should look, how I should act, how I should carry myself, how I should respond. I don't like being given direct orders, even when the orders are given with love and my best interests in mind and in heart.
However, I have realized something about myself....I don't really mind being coerced...I don't mind coercion when it comes in an acceptable package, a pill that's easy to swallow.
Music is such a package/pill for me. I am easily influenced by the lyrics and melodies that waft deliciously through my ears, reverberating through my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body.
I listen. I hear the message. I heed the call.
Time asks no questions, it goes on without you
Leaving you behind if you can't stand the pace
The world keeps on spinning, can't stop it if you try to
The best part is danger staring you in the face....
